Hi, I’m Abbey

I’m the face behind Simply Refinished.

I created my blog a few years ago after beginning my furniture painting journey.

I fell in love with painting furniture and home décor and wanted to share with others what I learned to help them avoid the mistakes I made.

Since painting my first piece of furniture many years ago, I’ve experimented with different styles and products and tried it all!

I also do epoxy resin art, mainly wood boards, table tops, tumblers and coasters. I may share some of these projects on the blog in the future.
